A scholar from Tiburn Academy suspects the birds may have inadvertently discovered one of the ancient Weir-Gates left by the gods. 

If the Weir-Gates actually exist they would allow unhindered travel between continents for individuals as well as army’s.

The professor asks the King of Valdaria to put a mission together to discover the truth about these Weir-Gates.

Their team discovers a great deal more, and once again the World of Rythmar is plunged into war.
