Bob is a 1969 graduate of the Citadel and a former Captain in the United States Air Force. While on active duty he commanded the USAF Honor Guard in Washington DC.  An avid outdoorsman, fly fisherman, and fly tyer, he pursues these passions from the mountains of south-west Virginia to the low country coastal plain of South Carolina.

He is a graduate of the Systems Engineering Development Program from Electronic Data Systems Corporation and worked in the Information Technology Industry for thirty plus years. He spent a decade as President and Executive Director of the South Carolina Sportsman’s Coalition, working with the SC General Assembly on Conservation issues and serving as a lobbyist principal. 

He has written nine novels about the world of Rythmar, grouped in three Trilogies, Royal Blood, Dawn, and Thistle, The Weir-Gate Wars, and the Lyssen-Wars. The third Rythmar Trilogy is now live on Amazon.

He lives in South Carolina with his wife of  fifty plus years Jo and their Labrador Retrievers Teal and Darby.
